Assorted Flavors is our annual exhibit dedicated to artwork created by Pence Members! This second annual Member exhibit is open from March 13 – April 16, 2026, in the Dowling Community Gallery.

This is a non-juried, open theme display of 2D & 3D work. Each Pence Member may bring in one piece of their choosing in any medium, and we will install it for you! Maximum dimensions are 30” in any direction (including frame), no heavier than 30 lbs., and all work should be ready to install. Space is limited to the first 40 entrants with a fee of $35.

Drop-off is March 6, 2026, from 11:30 AM – 5 PM.

The Pence’s Slice exhibit is open for submission by California artists working in any medium (except video or sound). This is an ‘open theme’ exhibit, which showcases art that is conceptually thoughtful, technically skilled, and representative of contemporary trends in art.

This year’s juror is Susie Kantor. She is the Associate Curator & Exhibition Department Head at the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art at UC Davis. Her curatorial projects there include Through Their Eyes: Selections from the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Collection; Phillip Byrne, Beatriz Cortez, Kang Seung Lee, Candice Lin: Entangled Writing; Shiva Ahmadi: Strands of Resilience; Loie Hollowell: Tick Tock Belly Clock; and From Moment to Movement: Picturing Protest in the Kramlich Collection.
